Dr. Albert Natanov, DDS

Dr. Albert Natanov was born and raised in Samarkand, Uzbekistan, then part of the Soviet Union. He attended First Tashkent Medical Institute to earn his dental degree, graduating in 1995, and went on to pursue advanced training in Prosthodontics. In 1998, he took a leap of faith in pursuit of the American Dream and left his home to build a new life in the United States.

Once in America, his dental degree from the Soviet Union did not transfer, and he had to start over from the beginning. In 2001, he matriculated into the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Dentistry and completed the program in three years. During that time he was named Student of the Year in 2001 for his excellence in leadership and clinical skill, and he became the last student in UMKC Dental history to graduate in three years.

After graduation, Dr. Natanov worked in a range of dental practices, from general dentistry to pediatrics. In 2009, he opened his own practice. Since then, Albert Dental has cared for more than 35,000 patients across the greater Kansas City area, won multiple awards, and become one of the highest rated dental offices in Overland Park with more than 900+ reviews. Invisalign named the practice the number one General Dentist Invisalign Provider in Kansas City for both 2025 and 2026.

Throughout his career, Dr. Natanov has strived to provide compassionate, gentle, and patient-centered care to every patient. He has completed more than 1,000 hours of continuing education in advanced techniques including implants, full-mouth reconstruction, facial aesthetics, orthodontics and Invisalign, and advanced restorative dentistry. He is 1 of only 18 Invisalign Providers worldwide recognized by Align Technology for personally surpassing 1,000 Invisalign cases, with more than 1,350 completed to date, and he is the only General Dentist Blue Diamond Provider in the Kansas City area.

In his free time, Dr. Natanov loves spending time with his wife, Luba, and their four children, Nicholas, Emily, Sara, and Maya. He enjoys the simple things in life, from watching reruns of old movies and television shows to doing DIY projects and spending time outdoors.
